From the minds of Julie Mallis and D.S. Kinsell comes a night of both sights and sounds. Formed in the spirit of collaboration, L2D2 features 21 artists coming together for a performance that is sure to be both interesting and unique. Though each of the performers can be identified in the categories of “sight” or “sound,” each of the performers will be enhanced by the collaborative effort that happens when artists perform simultaneously. The night of music and visuals runs Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Most Wanted Fine Art in the Arts District on Penn Avenue.
If you feel like being active this Saturday, come out to the second annual One Whirl Yoga Fest. Practice a variety of yoga styles — from Bikram to Power Vinyasa Flow — throughout the day long event. While recovering, you can visit the vendor’s village for healthy food choices made by local cooks. The One Whirl YogaFest and Healthy Lifestyle Expo runs throughout the day this Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Point State Park.
