Anti-racist activists faced off with Pittsburgh police in Point Breeze Wednesday night, after talks with Mayor Bill Peduto broke down. Police used chemical agents and other less-lethal crowd control methods, and one person was arrested.
It was the second straight night of protests in front of Peduto's Point Breeze home, following the detainment of a bike marshal in an unmarked van during last weekend’s Civil Saturdays march, a weekly demonstration calling for changes to the state’s use of force law.
